Andi Wittmann

Date of Birth: 22.09.1987
City of Birth: Rosenheim

Hometown: Munich, Rosenheim, Bad Aibling

Bavarian pro dirt jumper Andi Wittmann has made his mark in the world of European mountain bikers in a big way. One of Spank Industries first pro's and longest standing athletes, Andi has been cleaning up major events across continental Europe since 2007, with wins as recently as summer 2012 at the Bike Festival Riva del Garda. 2012 was a true come back year for Andi after major injury that kept him off the bike for almost a season.

Although Andi's presence as a competitor at any event means he's a threat, its not his podiums that Andi will be most remembered for. Andi's talents on and off the bike meant he became the go to rider in his region and beyond, when it comes to building the best and most challenging courses for dirt and slope competition, and later event coordination.

Wittmann has created numerous successful mtb events over the years, leading up to his masterpiece, the annual "Suzuki Nine Knights", which is now recognized as one of the world's premier throw downs for the top freeride guns in the biz, and best collections of top photographers and videographers.

Wittmann has been a regular in European Freeride movies and edits for years, but it was his work in the critically aclaimed "Framed" that stands out as one of the most watched videos of 2010.
