Spank Riders Success at Sypatex/Bike Festival Garda Trentino

Last weekend (May 1st) Spank's EU Team laid down the law at Italy's Garda Trentino Festival, sponsored by Nissan, Symptex, and bike magazine. It was a wild weekend for all, but all of the Spank riders in attendance came for one thing...to kick some butt!

 

King of Dirt - Dirt Jump - 2nd place!
Andi Wittman was stomping tricks in silky smooth fashion...cork 720, backflip-tailwhips, and more kept the crowd out of their seats! Congratulations to Andi for a close second place behind victor Amir Kabbani.

 

Men's Nightsprint 4X - 2nd place!
Tibor Simai had a strong showing moving up through the ranks and narrowly missed a victory to Nathaniel Goiny in the final run. Congrats to Tibor for his amazing day and a silver to show for it!

Men's Nightsprint 4X - 4th place!
A special shout out to "Superman" Rob J, who road in 380km over the Alps on his road bike from Munich to Riva and then competed every event except for the kids race. That includes the Marathon, the Enduro Challenge, Nightsprint 4X, and the King of Dirt DJ showdown!!! Congratulations on a strong 4th place behing close friend Tibor Simai in the Nightsprint, and a 10th place in the King of Dirt DJ (still wearing racing tighties because he had to run from event to event)!

 

Women's Nightsprint 4X - 2nd place!
Long standing Spank pro Laura Bretthauer was flying in Italy and secured a tightly contested 2nd place overall in the Women's Nightsprint 4X! Spank congratulates Laura on her strong showing and also victor Rachel Sedoux.

NOT BAD FOR A WEEKEND OF MAYHEM IN BEAUTIFUL ITALY!!!
